About me:
Mary Stelletello brings more than 20 years experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors to her coaching and consulting work.
Mary is a certified professional coach with the Coaches Training Institute and ACC credentialed with the ICF. She uses these skills with nonprofit executives, board leaders and management staff to strengthen their abilities and skills to guide organizations to excellence.
Prior to starting Vista Global, Mary was a Senior Associate with La Piana Consulting, a national management consulting firm. Clients included The Sierra Club, ACLU, League of Women Voters of CA, AARP, NAACP and The Hawaii Community Foundation.
With La Piana Consulting, Mary conducted learning communities for executive directors and emerging leaders and facilitated capacity building workshops for nonprofit leaders in the areas of strategic planning, governance and program impact.
Prior to consulting, Mary held executive director positions with several youth-serving nonprofits, ranging in budget size from $150,000 to $13 million.
In the philanthropic sector, Mary served as Director of Grant Management and subsequently as Director of Education and Leadership Programs for the International Youth Foundation. In this position, she traveled to more than 25 different countries on six continents.
Training/Education: Mary holds a MA in Latin American Studies and an MBA in International Management from the University of New Mexico. She received a BA in Political Economics with a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley. She is fluent in Spanish and speaks some Portuguese.
